How does booking work?
-
1. Share your plans
Send your date, guest count, pickup point and venue. Include arrival and return times, plus any accessibility needs.
If guests are leaving from different offices or hotels, tell us where each group will start so we can plan the pickups.
-
2. Get your quote
Review the recommended vehicle, schedule and total price. Confirm the details and book your trip.
We’ll help you work through the route and return arrangements, including whether your evening needs one departure or multiple scheduled departures. If some guests need to leave earlier than the rest of the group, tell us and we'll plan separate departure times.
-
3. Bring your team together
Share the pickup instructions with your guests. Our chauffeurs handle the driving, backed by our operations team.
With the ride arranged, guests can enjoy the celebration without worrying about going to the party and back safely.

What our clients say
-
My company contracted with Bauer’s IT to run a shuttle between San Francisco and Palo Alto for daily commuting. The service has always been professional, reliable, comfortable, and on time. I have grown to rely on it as my first choice for my daily commute. I strongly recommend Bauer’s IT to anyone looking for transportation services.
Also a big shout out to their driver Kim Smith! It is a joy riding with him everyday. He is friendly, punctual, and always delivers us safely and on time. He goes above and beyond to provide great costumer service to all his riders.
-
We recently hired Bauer's Transportation for a client's 3-day corporate retreat, handling dropoff and pickup between San Francisco and Monterey. The experience was flawless from start to finish.
The drivers were punctual, professional, friendly, and made the long journey comfortable and stress-free for our group. The vehicles were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience.
FAQs
Got Questions? We've Got Answers
-
How far in advance should I book holiday party transportation?
The earlier, the better. December compresses an entire season of parties into its first two weekends, so those dates book out first every year. If your party date is already set, that’s the moment to reserve. We’ll confirm your vehicles and give you a fixed number you can put in the budget today.
-
How much does it cost per person?
We price by vehicle and route, not per person, which usually works in your favor. A full coach divided across everyone on board often costs less per person than a round of rideshares, and the number is fixed before the night begins. Send us your date, locations, and headcount, and we’ll send back an exact quote. No surprises on the invoice.
-
How does it work? How do employees sign up for a seat?
It’s simple. You tell us the date, the venue, and where people are coming from. We design the routes, confirm the schedule, and show up early. For seat signups, we can provide a simple reservation process through our RidePal platform, or your team can manage its own list. Either way, your only job on party night is to enjoy the party.
-
Can we have multiple pickup locations?
Yes, and most companies do. We can pick up from several offices, a few central points around the city, or near transit hubs where people live. We’ll help you choose pickup points based on where your employees actually are, so nobody has a long trip just to catch the shuttle.
-
Do you run routes across the whole Bay Area?
We do. We’ve been moving groups across the Bay Area for almost 40 years, from San Francisco to the Peninsula, the South Bay, the East Bay, and the North Bay, including Napa and Sonoma. If your party is in one city and your people are in five, that’s a normal Tuesday for us.
-
What group sizes can you work with?
From a single vehicle to a full fleet operation. We own more than 300 vehicles, from executive vans and minibuses to full-size coaches, so we match the vehicle to your group instead of forcing your group into one vehicle size. Companies of 30 and companies of 3,000 get the same planning care.
-
We're a small company, around 40 people. Is that too small?
Not at all. Forty people fits comfortably in one of our mid-size coaches, or two smaller shuttles if you’d rather run two pickup points. Small groups often get the most out of this, because one vehicle solves the entire transportation question for the whole company in a single reservation.
-
Can we schedule staggered departure times?
Yes. Many companies run an early shuttle for people who want to head home at a reasonable hour and a later one for those who close the party down. Nobody has to choose between leaving too early and staying too late. We’ll build the departure schedule around how your team actually celebrates.
-
What if our party doesn't end at 9?
Then neither do we. Late nights are part of this work, and our dispatch team is on duty 24/7/365. Whether your event wraps at 9pm or 1am, your drivers are scheduled for your night, not just an evening window.
-
What if the party runs longer than planned?
It happens, and it’s fine. Your driver stays with your event, and our around-the-clock dispatch is behind every vehicle, so a party that runs long is an adjustment, not a crisis. We’ll agree on how extra time works before the event, so even the overage is a number you’ve already seen.
-
Can we book one-way service, just to get everyone home?
Yes. Rides home are the part that matters most, and some companies book exactly that: everyone arrives on their own, and shuttles handle the end of the night. It’s a smaller line item that still solves the biggest question of the evening, which is how everyone gets home safely.
-
What if our party is outside San Francisco?
We’ll be there. Wine country venues, Half Moon Bay, South Bay hotels, East Bay event spaces. Remote venues are actually where a shuttle earns its keep, because rideshares at a Napa winery at 11pm are scarce and expensive. We plan the round trip so the venue can be anywhere.
-
How does this protect our company?
Hosting a party where alcohol is served comes with a duty of care, and transportation is the most direct way to meet it. Every Bauer’s driver is a professional chauffeur we hired and trained ourselves, behind us is the CHP’s Safest Operation in California recognition, and we carry $10M in commercial liability coverage. Providing a safe, professional ride home is one of the clearest signals a company can send that it takes care of its people. For specific questions about your company’s liability, your counsel or insurer is the right resource; our job is to make sure the answer to “how did everyone get home?” is a good one.
