Whether relatives are flying in to celebrate or a group is heading out for the long weekend, a planned pickup gives everyone one less detail to coordinate. Bauer’s connects airport travel with the rest of your itinerary, from hotel arrivals to the journey home.
What details help us plan your ride?
Share the following information, and we’ll match the right transportation to your group:
-
Flights & times Travel dates, flight numbers, and arrival or departure times.
-
Pickup & destination Airport, pickup address, and destination.
-
Passengers & luggage Passenger count and approximate luggage count.
-
Trip type & extras One-way, round-trip, or multiple transfers, along with any accessibility needs or additional stops.
How does booking work?
-
1. Share your itinerary
Tell us who is traveling, where they need to go, and when. We’ll use those details to plan the journey.
Include all the addresses and stops so we can coordinate the full itinerary for you.
-
2. Get our vehicle recommendation
We recommend a vehicle based on your passenger count, luggage, accessibility needs, and pickup location.
We adjust the recommendation based on your dates, route, and service requirements.
-
3. Confirm the pickup and return arrangements
We track arriving flights to support adjustments to pickup times, and our team coordinates the airport meeting point and luggage arrangements.
We time your pickup around check-in and security, and can book your ride home from the airport too.

A luxury van suits smaller groups, a shuttle offers more room for medium-sized groups, and a coach accommodates larger parties. We’ll recommend the right option based on your passenger count and luggage needs.
-
Luxury van
13 or 14 seats
Family airport pickups and private transfers to a home or hotel
-
Luxury shuttle
23, 27 or 31 seats
Hotel guest transfers and pickups organized around different flight arrivals
-
Luxury coach
38, 52 or 56 seats

Seat counts describe passenger capacity; the recommended vehicle also depends on luggage requirements. Help us choose the perfect vehicle for your group by sharing the count of any oversized bags, equipment, or accessibility needs when requesting your quote.
Accessible vehicles and meet-and-greet service are available upon request.
What if guests arrive at different times?
We can arrange separate pickups for guests arriving at different times, while travelers arriving together can share a transfer.
If your group is staying at different hotels or continuing to several destinations, we can include those stops in the transportation plan. Share the flight details and a contact person for each group so our team can coordinate each pickup and onward transfer.

FAQs
Got Questions? We've Got Answers
-
How do I arrange Thanksgiving transportation, and where do I start?
Start with the basics: your travel dates, airport, passenger count, and destination. Request a quote online or call 866.533.2035. We’ll recommend the right vehicle, build the plan around your flights, and send you a quote to review before you book.
-
What details do you need to put together my quote?
Travel dates, flight numbers, and arrival or departure times. The airport, pickup address, and destination. Passenger count and a rough luggage count. Tell us whether you need one-way, round-trip, or several transfers across the week, plus any accessibility needs or extra stops, and we’ll take it from there.
-
Which airports do you serve?
SFO, Oakland, and San Jose. If your group’s flights are split across two airports, include each one in your request and we’ll coordinate the full picture as one plan.
-
Which vehicle fits my group?
Our luxury vans seat 13 or 14, which suits family airport pickups and private transfers. Luxury shuttles seat 23, 27, or 31, a good fit for hotel transfers and pickups around different arrivals. Luxury coaches seat 38, 52, or 56, for tour groups, extended families, and company teams traveling together. Give us your headcount and we’ll recommend the right one.
-
We're traveling with a lot of luggage. How does that work?
Tell us about it up front, and we’ll size the vehicle for the bags, not just the seats. Thanksgiving travel comes with full suitcases, strollers, and the occasional cooler, so the right vehicle is often one size up from what the headcount alone suggests. Oversized items and equipment just need a mention in your quote request.
-
Our relatives arrive on different flights at different times. Can you handle that?
Yes, that’s a normal Thanksgiving for us. We can arrange separate pickups for guests arriving at different times, and travelers landing together can share a transfer. Send us the flight details and a contact person for each group, and our team coordinates every pickup and onward stop.
-
What happens if a flight is delayed?
We track arriving flights, so pickup times adjust with the actual arrival, not the scheduled one. A delay on your end doesn’t mean a missed ride on ours. Your family lands, and the vehicle is there.
-
Our flight lands after midnight. Do you run that late? What about early departures?
Both. Our dispatch runs 24/7/365, which exists precisely for the 12:55am arrival and the 5am departure. Late-night and early-morning transfers are part of the plan, with the same coordination as any midday ride.
-
Can someone meet us inside the airport?
Yes. Meet-and-greet service is available upon request, which helps when grandparents are landing, when the group is large, or when nobody wants to decode terminal pickup signs after a long flight. Ask for it in your quote request and we’ll arrange the meeting point.
-
Can we book the pickup and the ride back in one booking?
Yes, and we recommend it. One-way, round-trip, and multiple transfers across the holiday week can all go in the same booking. For departures, we help plan your pickup time to allow for the drive, bag unloading, check-in, and security, so nobody is doing anxious math on Thanksgiving morning.
-
Do you have accessible vehicles?
Yes, ADA-accessible vehicles are available upon request. Tell us about any accessibility needs when you request your quote, and the recommendation will account for them from the start.
-
How far in advance should we book for Thanksgiving week?
As soon as the flights are booked, book the ground ride. The days around Thanksgiving are among the busiest travel days of the year, and vehicles for that week get claimed early. If you know your dates and your headcount, that’s enough to reserve now.
