Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation: A Thanksgiving Two Decade Tradition

For more than twenty years, Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation has had the joy of partnering with Full Tummies Network and Rooted SF to support local families and bring a little extra warmth to the holiday season. As a company that has served the Bay Area for nearly four decades, we recognize the importance of giving back to the community that has supported us from day one. We’re grateful to have the people, resources, and local partnerships that allow us to make a meaningful impact year after year.

This holiday season was truly a team effort. It started with our staff gathering Thanksgiving staples — stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, pies, and all the essentials — and carefully packaging individual bags for each family. A few brave members of our team even battled the holiday grocery store crowds to pick up fifty turkeys (no small feat!), turning what could’ve been chaos into a fun team adventure complete with laughs, carts full of turkeys, and the occasional turkey escape attempt.

Thanks to everyone’s hard work — and with the help of our partners — we proudly donated fifty full Thanksgiving meals, each thoughtfully assembled with care. We want to give a huge thank-you to the wonderful teams at Grocery Outlet on Bayfront, and Foods Co on Folsom Street. Their staff helped load up carts, offered guidance, wrangled turkeys with us, and made the entire process smooth, supportive, and unexpectedly fun.

Once the meals were ready to go, our crew loaded everything into one of our  22-passenger shuttles, turning it into a holiday delivery van for the day. We joined our nonprofit partner and members of the San Franscico Police Department to hand out meals, exchange smiles, and share moments of connection that reminded us what this season is truly about. It was a heartwarming experience that brought our team closer and strengthened our bond with the community.
